How to play

1. Watch shoppers and their approach. Hold at least 0.2s in an opening.
2. Holding makes the smell wider. Release early and avoid contact while it lingers.
3. Bank points when it clears! After 45 seconds, wait for the final smell.

Hold and release the button or Space. Enter toggles hold/release. P/Escape pauses.

Scoring and rules

45 seconds; hold at least 0.2 seconds, once per opening. Every third success adds 5 points. Longer holds grow points and smell range. After release, smell lingers for up to 1.15 seconds. Bank points only when it clears. Getting caught loses pending points and costs 10; play continues regardless of catches. At 45 seconds, holding ends; finish only after the final smell clears or gets caught.

Text distinguishes score, pending points, lingering smell and danger. An empty basic zone does not guarantee safety from approaching shoppers. Leaving the tab pauses play; resume explicitly.
